I am on air on shortwave since 1978.
Since 2002 i am licensed on class A for amateur radio. My equipment is a Yaesu
FT2000 Tranceiver. Antenna is a Hygain TH3MK3 3 element Yagi for 10m, 15m and
20m. For 2m 70cm i use a Diamond X-50N GP and for 40m and 80m a W735 Trap dipol from
Diamond. Hope to hear you on the bands on CW or SSB. QSL is 100% via the german DARC bureau or if
you prefer faster via direkt.
Photography
My second hobby is digital photography. Especially animal and insekt makro
photography. Camera is a Canon EOS 60D DSLR. Lenses a Tamron DI 90 Makrolens and
a Rodenstock Rodagon 2,8/50 mm with close-up Ring. For very small objects
i use a Marumi +5 achromat. For Birds etc. i use a Canon 100-400mm IS tele. Tripod
is a Manfrotto 055PROB and a Cullmann Magnesit 35nm head.
BMW E21 Peters Convertible
Another hobby is an BMW E21 oldtimer. The car was built in 1979. I bought it
1986 and let the Peters Company in Paderborn doing the conversion to convertible.
There were only approximatly 400 of them converted in the 80's and early 90's. Engine is a 320/6 6 Zylinder.
